Inspired in part by Ryan Anderson's comics I had an idea for a story about a boy who defends his family from monsters.
The grown-ups in his life "know" it's just a game.
This is my first concept sketch for the mundane reality version of Sean. The anatomy is off, and not in the way I wanted, but the major elements are okay. I'm not sold of the big eyes.

Parady had a journal with some book PDFs a little while ago. One of those books has an excellent section on body proportions and perspective. Sorry I can't remember which one it was though. If you get time, they should be worth a read.
