This has a stylized feel and feels solid although not realistic, if that is what you were aiming for. The flat colours defy the realism I think, but instead offers clarity. If you went the other way and made, say, the entire dragon in rust-red tones, this would fit well for a book illustration of iconic dragons (although not then matching the theme "green" of course). For reaslim though I would suggest much stronger light sources in the image - even with a featureless background this is always possible, and also allows you self-shadowing to clearly show the 3D-structure of the beast.
Anyway, it's fun to see you experiment with other themes and styles, you definitely have a clear feel of form here.
