This picture was created for participation in the =302312#p302312"GimpTalk bi-weekly art contest #18, "School's Out."
The first thing that happened was that I got Alice Cooper's "School's Out" stuck in my head for about a week. I also came up with and rejected several ideas. I nearly went with the kid-eating school house, but decided against it. This serves as a combination of anatomy practice (hands) and contest entry. I used my own hand as a reference for the hand in the picture. The colors are from my own graduation. Created in GIMP using GIMP Paint Studio. Comments

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
